Service 02 · Succession

Arranging business succession the right way.

The orderly handover of your life’s work — to a buyer, your own management or the next generation. We combine the tax and legal planning with the transaction side, so the succession truly holds.

What we do for you

Plan early, order the options

A good succession starts 3–5 years ahead, tax-optimised structures often earlier. We order your options — family, MBO/MBI or external sale — and make the trade-offs concrete for your situation.

Valuation & owner dependence

So the business carries on without you, we systematically reduce owner dependence and create a defensible valuation as the basis for any negotiation — whether inside the family or on the market.

Find a successor & guide the handover

If the path leads through a sale, we find the right successor from our network — someone who fits the company, the people and your vision. We accompany the handover beyond the notary appointment.

At a glance

Frequently askedFAQ

Business succession

With enough lead time, a clear decision on the path (family, management or sale), a defensible valuation and a clean tax and legal structure. We orchestrate the parties and run the process.
Ideally 3–5 years ahead. Tax-optimised holding structures often only take effect after several years — starting early creates room to manoeuvre.
Handover within the family, a sale to your own management (MBO) or to external managers (MBI), and a sale to a strategic or financial buyer. Often a combination is the best route.
Depending on the path, inheritance/gift tax (with standard and full relief) or taxation of the capital gain. The structure determines the burden — we involve tax advisors early.
