Since 2018, Expertlead has operated a digital platform for the placement of qualified tech specialists. In 2023, the company commissioned DDG to carry out a capital increase to finance further growth. When the potential investor unexpectedly withdrew in the final negotiation stages, the company was forced to file for insolvency. However, the DDG team did not give up and continued to support the company in finding the best possible solution. In collaboration with the insolvency administrator, DDG conducted an investor process that ultimately led to the sale of Expertlead to the globally operating WorkGenius Group. The acquisition enables WorkGenius to further expand its market position in Europe and grow its existing freelancer community.
