About TARADOR:#
TARADOR GmbH has established itself as a dynamically growing IT service provider specializing in tailored IT security solutions for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) as well as public institutions. The company offers a comprehensive range of services, including the integration and management of firewall, VPN, NAC, backup, encryption, and antivirus solutions. A significant portion of its customers comes from critical infrastructures (KRITIS), which TARADOR supports in meeting increasing IT security requirements. Currently, TARADOR serves approximately 400 clients, generating predominantly recurring revenues. The current annual revenue amounts to around 8 million euros.
Role of CARL:#

The objective of this transaction was to find a strategic buyer who could further strengthen and expand TARADOR’s strong market position in IT security over the long term. DATAGROUP was identified as the ideal partner, offering numerous synergies and enabling TARADOR to enter its next growth phase. Through this acquisition, DATAGROUP expands its SME portfolio and enhances its service offerings with IT security solutions that are increasingly important for this segment.
